You would probably have experienced losing someone you love to someone else because you took too long to express how you really feel with the appropriate words and action. You end up losing the one you truly care about or end up in the dreaded 'friend zone'. Just like people are constantly losing out on a great fulfilling relationship with someone they want, brands and businesses are also losing out on converting prospects to paying clients or customers, because they are not initiating the right action.

Only people that have been living under the rock for more than a decade will not know what the internet is by now. But if you fall in this category, don't be shy, call me - 08061126646. Now that we have that out of the way, allow me to quickly list why everyone should consider using the internet for marketing, and why those not fully utilising digital channels should do a reappraisal. 

The Nigerian Digital space has witnessed tremendous growth, people now turn to their digital devices for a lot of activities; information consumption, communication, socialisation, entertainment etc.

By embracing the internet, many operators of small and medium enterprise now market their products seamlessly to existing clients and attract new ones, reaping bountifully in the process.

I was scrolling down my Facebook feeds and I saw this update from one of my friends: “So much 'cock and bulls' (misleading information) on the web today. You need to be filled with God's Spirit to even surf the Web without being contaminated physically, spiritually, emotionally and even psychologically. So many lies, half truth, propaganda and even deliberate seeds of evil are being sold to the undiscerning populace as news. Only God can save us from the hands of the minds that conceive these ideas in our world today. Never take any information off the internet or media until you've scrutinized it well. This age that we live in is the age of the battle between the Naked Truth and Well Dressed Lies.

The rate of infidelity in relationships these days is alarming, it’s like we are in a generation of cheaters, a generation where both married and unmarried couples are constantly hitting the bricks, like it’s a natural phenomenon. Some ladies have even concluded that all men are built to cheat - the only difference is if and when you catch them doing it.

We have different definitions for success in our relationships with other individuals, family or entities. Success is relative, depending on the observer. To some people a successful relationship is measured based on the amount of tangible benefits it provides, like material benefits or monetary, ... ...

We have a lot of people in this country that need to learn what surrounds the reality of internet marketing. There are other set of people that require a process of unlearning, because they are filled with wrong pre-conceived ideas. These people are mostly small and medium business operators trying to open up their business to the online market, however, we still marvel at the demonstration of incompetence or lack of a digital marketing strategy within some large organisations in the country.
